The process of creating my final piece involved careful planning, trying out different ideas, and making improvements along the way. As I went through the different stages of development, my idea for a captivating experience that explores the mind of a girl with schizophrenia started to come together. I wanted to create a story that would really touch people's hearts and captivate them visually, drawing inspiration from the dark tones found in shows like Black Mirror (2005) and "Black Swan (2010)

During Phase 3 of my development stage, I started by outlining the desired appearance of the immersive experience. In this phase, I created individual videos that showcased various aspects of my protagonist's delusions. I created videos capturing the movement of artwork as it detached from the walls, representing the dynamic and sometimes unsettling quality  hallucinations. I created a hologram video using After Effects to enhance the surrealism and immerse the audience in the character's fractured reality.

Writing the script was a crucial aspect of this process. I put a lot of effort into creating a story that combines immersive elements with an exciting plot. At first, my script received feedback that it was too fast-paced, which echoed previous comments that my work focused more on style rather than substance. I was determined to tackle this issue, so I worked on creating a script that was both visually appealing and had a compelling storyline.

Writing the script was difficult. I wanted it to capture the depth and intricacy of the shows that influenced me, like The Responder (2024) and Six Feet Under (2005)  I aimed to strike a similar balance as these narratives by skillfully blending intense themes with relatable elements. Yet, fitting the storyline into one film proved to be a challenge. I had to be careful not to rush the plot and make sure that both the immersive experience and the narrative got enough attention.

After going through several revisions, I focused on enhancing the script to make it more engaging. I worked hard to develop a narrative that would captivate the audience and effectively portray the main character's personal and external challenges with emotion and complexity. The feedback process was really helpful. It allowed me to improve my approach and make the script more emotionally impactful.

Even with the challenges, I stayed dedicated to making sure the end result was impressive in style and somewhat meaningful in content. The videos were created to engage viewers and make them feel like they are part of the protagonist's story. The script was written to tell a captivating and emotional narrative. It was quite a challenge to find the right balance, but I was really motivated to create an experience that captured the essence of the dark, intricate shows that had deeply impacted me.
