For my immersive experience, I delved into Photoshop to craft eerie and unsettling artwork that symbolized the character's deteriorating mental health. Using the history brush tool, I created haunting images reminiscent of aged art prints, adding to the atmosphere of darkness and gloom. Inspired by my research on anhedonia and the preference for mentally stimulating content, I opted for a dark theme that would resonate with participants. These creepy artworks will be scattered throughout the rooms of the immersive experienc and serve as visual representations of the character's inner turmoil and the progression of their mental state from bad to worse. Through this artwork, I aimed to immerse participants in the unsettling and emotionally charged journey of the character, enhancing their overall experience.
I used Adobe Photoshop to express the complexities of mental health issues. I tried to capture the rollercoaster of emotions that come with shifting between moments of understanding and uncertainty, stability and chaos.

I used motion blur to create brushstrokes that captured the feeling of being disconnected from oneself, aiming to capture the deep sense of uncertainty that comes with internal turmoil. motion blur portrays the chaotic nature of the mind.

Trying to strike a  balance between reality and illusion, clarity and distortion. i changed the blur intensity, to capture the elusive nature of this inner battle.

The artwork ultimately portrayed the complex journey of mental health struggles, giving viewers a glimpse into the profound challenges faced by individuals dealing with mental health issues.
I decided to explore mental health using Adobe Photoshop. I wanted to capture the complex experience of navigating the depths of the mind using a variety of tools.

I was intrigued by how filmmakers often draw from their personal experiences with depression to create films with deep and melancholic themes. This inspired me to explore the realm of mental illness. I wanted my artwork to connect with all kinds of people, exploring themes that reflect the complex range of human emotions.

I was inspired by the intense atmosphere of shows like Black Mirror and films like Black Swan. My goal was to create an experience that would make people think and feel deeply. However, some peers expressed concerns that the immersive experience might become too scary, which could potentially make some viewers uncomfortable.

Upon further consideration of this feedback, I came to understand the significance of finding a middle ground between capturing interest and being easily understandable. Although many people are drawn to the excitement of darkness, it's important to make sure that everyone's preferences are respected and included.

My main aim is to create an engaging experience that goes beyond the usual limits, giving a glimpse into the intricacies of the human mind.

I set out to capture the delicate nature of the human mind using Adobe Photoshop as my medium. I was inspired by the broken pieces of glass to represent the complexities of mental health challenges.
I started by adding a cracked glass texture to a chosen photo, giving the image a feeling of chaos and disorder. I carefully manipulated the photo by cutting out specific elements and rearranging them, resulting in a distorted and fragmented composition. This intentional distortion was meant to reflect the fragmented state of the mind during times of mental distress.

I wanted to create a piece that would help people understand and empathise with the complexities of mental health. I aimed to create a visual representation of the fragmented reality that people with mental health challenges face, with the goal of increasing awareness and compassion.

This artwork reminds us of how fragile the human condition can be. With its powerful images, it encourages viewers to think about the complexities of the mind and the need to show empathy and support for those dealing with mental health challenges
.

I created a thought-provoking artwork that symbolises the internal battles experienced by people affected by anhedonia, a condition that causes a loss of pleasure and distorted perception of reality. I created a piece of art that shows a broken and distorted human face, which represents the feelings of disconnection and emptiness that people with anhedonia may experience.

The artwork's fragmented nature represents the broken sense of self and distorted perception that often come with mental health disorders. The artwork aims to elicit a strong emotional reaction from viewers, encouraging them to face the intricate and frequently misunderstood experiences of living with anhedonia and mental health issues.

I created this artwork to give individuals with anhedonia a visual representation of their experiences, so they can feel understood and validated. I wanted to create a connection and understanding among people facing mental health challenges by expressing feelings of numbness, distortion, and fragility.

In the end, this piece shows how art can be a powerful way to express oneself and connect with others. This piece uses vivid imagery and symbolism to give a voice to those whose struggles are often overlooked.
